MORNINGTIME 2340

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing ; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18. HAVING THEREFORE THESE PROMISES, (as mentioned above), DEARLY BELOVED, LET US CLEANSE OURSELVES FROM ALL FILTHINESS OF THE FLESH AND SPIRIT, PERFECTING HOLINESS IN THE FEAR OF GOD. 2 Corinthians 7:1. Do you look at these verses as confining rules, or great Promises from a Loving God Who is looking out for our Safety in Christ, and our profitability to Christ as His Obedient Servants? These verses must be seen and studied through the Eyes of Love, the same Love that tells you, "Don't play in the middle of the interstate, you will die". The Words of God are either very confining as they bring down the legalistic Law upon our heads, "Thou shalt not...", or bring a great Freedom FROM the Law and INTO the Joyful Obedience of walking in great Mercy and Grace with a God Who Loves us more than we can comprehend on this side of eternity, "Thou shalt not... because it will Kill you". Those who Love Christ will run to Him as they cast off the Bondages of Law and take on the yoke of Love shared with Christ. "For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light". Matthew 11:30. What is your Heart's Attitude? Is it one of, "I can't handle all these rules, they take away all the fun", or is it, "Teach me Your Ways Lord, that I may, Be Blessed"?
