Now therefore behold the king whom YE have chosen, and whom YE have desired! and, behold, the Lord hath set a king over you. If ye will FEAR THE LORD, and SERVE HIM, and OBEY HIS VOICE, and NOT REBEL AGAINST the commandment of THE LORD, then shall BOTH YE AND also THE KING that reigneth over you CONTINUE FOLLOWING THE LORD your God: But if ye will not obey the voice of the Lord, but rebel against the commandment of the Lord, then shall the hand of the Lord be against you, as it was against your fathers. Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you. But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, BOTH YE AND YOUR KING. 1 Samuel 12: 13-15,24-25. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because THOU HAST REJECTED the word of THE LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. And Saul said unto Samuel, I HAVE SINNED: for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord, and thy words: because I FEARED THE PEOPLE, and obeyed their voice. Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the Lord. And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for THOU HAST REJECTED the word of THE LORD, AND THE LORD HATH REJECTED THEE from being king over Israel. 1 Samuel 15:23-26. This principle was the same then as it is today. If a man, being a king or preacher, will lead his people in the ways of the Lord, both will survive Victoriously. But if the king, or preacher, will lead the people as the people want to be lead, both will be rejected by the Lord. Today, in most American churches, the preachers fear the sheep. "They can fire me if I don't preach what they want to hear", and, "What do I need to preach to keep the people, OUR TEENS, coming back"? Is it any wonder why our churches have no Power and Authority of, with, and from, The LORD? BELIEVE, AND OBEY, AND PREACH CHRIST, CRUCIFIED, and, Be Blessed.
