Owe no man any thing, but to LOVE ONE ANOTHER: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. Romans 13:8. Bear ye one another's Burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2. And be ye Kind one to another, Tenderhearted, FORGIVING ONE ANOTHER, EVEN AS GOD FOR CHRIST'S SAKE HATH FORGIVEN YOU. Ephesians 4:32. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: THAT YOUR FATHER also which is in heaven MAY FORGIVE YOU your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, NEITHER WILL YOUR FATHER which is in heaven FORGIVE YOUR TRESPASSES. Mark 11:25&26. And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there THEY CRUCIFIED HIM, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. THEN SAID JESUS, FATHER, FORGIVE THEM; for they know not what they do. And they parted His raiment, and cast lots. Luke 23:33-34. If they willingly, knowingly and desirously nailed Christ to a cross with perfect intent to not just kill him, but to be doubly sure He would never come back to Life, (the spear in the side), AND JESUS FORGAVE THEM, and asked His Father to also Forgive them, then do we Believers today have ANY reason to hold a grudge against ANYONE??? Saved our lost??? Someone offended me, he hurt my feelings, the Preacher didn't shake my hand after church, I'm not coming back here again. The list of excuses just keep on going and going and going. And not one of them will be acceptable when you try to tell Christ why He should Forgive you, but you don't need to forgive them. Christ has Forgiven ALL of Mankind for EVERYTHING, and you still think you can hold a grudge? On the brighter side of things, when you do Forgive them for whatever they did to you, a Satisfying Relief covers you like a big weight lifted off your shoulders with a return of the Peace and Joy you've been missing for a while. Everyone benefits when Forgiveness is freely given. Christ smiles when you Forgive others, and then you can smile, and then you can, Be Blessed.
