MORNINGTIME   4258

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: BUT MY SALVATION SHALL BE FOR EVER, and my Righteousness SHALL NOT be abolished. Isaiah 51:6. For ALL THINGS are for your sakes, that the Abundant Grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the Glory of God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our LIGHT AFFLICTION, which is but FOR A MOMENT, worketh for us a FAR MORE exceeding and eternal weight of Glory; 2 Corinthians 4:15-17. Just so there's no misunderstanding, when you get "Saved" and Follow Christ, like the thief on the cross next to Christ, YOU'RE IN, no doubts, no question, it's a done deal as Christ did ALL the work. Now, with THAT settled, the rest of your time on this earth is ALL about Growing you in CHRISTLIKENESS to have some attributes of your life instantly changed, and some attributes taking a while to work through. This "attributes work" has NO affect on your Salvation status, none, but you'll find yourself going from Glory to Glory as you take on the Attributes of Christ and lose the attributes of sin, flesh and the old man nature. Yes, you're Saved, but is the Lord Growing you in Love toward your fellow man? Is He giving you a new Love for the lost people of the world with a Desire for YOU to reach them with the Gospel? The List of Christ Like Attributes is endless, even though your time on Earth is not. That's OK, Christ will change whatever He wants in you as He sees fit before He calls you Home. The thief on the cross was Saved and immediately called Home. You obviously have more time to Grow in Christ than he did. Enjoy your Time here as Christ "works you over" to Reflect Him and Encourage them to come to Christ, just like someone Encouraged YOU to come to Christ to be Saved, to Greatly, Be Blessed.
