That He, (Christ), might sanctify and cleanse it, (the Church), with the washing of water by the word (of God), That He might present it to himself a glorious Church, NOT HAVING SPOT, OR WRINKLE, OR any such thing; but that it should be Holy and without BLEMISH. Ephesians 5:26-27. Back in the Jewish days of sacrificing lambs at the altar, that lamb had to be thoroughly inspected for any kind of type of flaw. If ANYTHING was not perfect, even one thing, the lamb was rejected. Only Christ THE PERFECT SACRIFICIAL LAMB, Who was flawless, could be sacrificed to pay for our sins. We all know a Christian who has died that we're sure had gone on to be with the Lord. OK, so far so good, let's call them the "75% Perfect" crowd. They had their faults, but truly loved Christ and we expect to see them in Heaven. Let's keep going. Christ is coming back to Present to Himself a Glorious Church without spot, blemish, or wrinkle, just like Himself (?). Let's call this particular group of people the "100%ers". Here's my question. IF there is no "pre-trib Rapture", IS IT POSSIBLE that Christ will be building a group of Believers, the End Time Body of Christ, people He has so "worked over" so hard, so thoroughly, that they basically have no more "flesh, self, or old man nature" left in them?? I'll illustrate. To eat an apple is good, you eat around the brown spots, the core, and the stem. But to be given an apple slice up with no brown spots, no core, and no stem, is REALLY a treat. Both are apples, both are good, but one is prepared just a little bit more with all "spot, blemish, and wrinkles" removed. These "100%er" Christians are no "better", or more Loved, than other Christians, JUST MORE PREPARED FOR CHRIST TO SHOW THE WORLD WHAT HIS BODY, THE CHURCH, DOES LOOK LIKE, before He takes them Home. No, there are not 2 classes of "Christians" here, just some who are Totally Sold Out to Christ. Only a Work the Holy Spirit can do, to ANYONE who is willing to Follow Christ, and, Be Blessed.
