But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, EXCEPT I SHALL SEE in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I WILL NOT BELIEVE. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. AND THOMAS ANSWERED AND SAID unto him, MY LORD AND MY GOD. John 20:24-28. This is called a "Learning Curve" and every one of us go through it. We all start off faithless, and through much trial and error, eventually learn to somewhat trust the Lord. Understand, EVERYONE, saved and not, go through this. Christ is asking all to come unto Him through Salvation. Most say "No". Of those who do say "Yes", now the Learning Curve starts. This is also called, "Running the Race" and "Fight the Good Fight", and again, not all who start will finish. For one reason or another, they will choose to fall by the wayside and not finish. But of those few who will, (the Lord knows), finish the race, the question is, just how far and how fast do you want to Trust the Lord and Grow in Christ? Does He have to prove every little thing He wants to teach you, or was one "proof" enough and you blindly accept EVERYTHING the Bible says about everything? One way, Christ has to prove Himself every time He wants to Teach you something. The better way is once you are Saved, you accept and follow EVERY thing by Faith that Christ shows you. You already have a Heart to Believe, all Christ does now is instruct you on your daily path of blind Obedience. And as you ask for, Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding, you'll greatly, Be Blessed.
