Serving Those Behind Bars and in Prisons of Their Own Making

Still Serving

Romans 8:28 says: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose.” That has always been the key verse of
ChristSong. God used all of our mess and sins to be able to speak to people that others couldn’t
reach. That is still true today.

Bobby beat me home last August from liver disease. Even though we are forgiven, we still have
to pay the consequences of our past sins. But he left a legacy behind of men and women who
were drawn to Jesus through him and his testimony. So many have told me, “He spent one hour
with me and my life was changed.” His U-Turn tract still speaks to everyone who picks it up, and
it turns up in the strangest places. He also left a wealth of videos that tell his story through song
and words, preaching the Gospel, and encouraging the broken hearted.
ChristSong is still moving! We are still serving prisoners and their children through Angel Tree
every Christmas. Nan is being called more to women’s addiction ministry. She teaches weekly at
2 right now, and often travels to others, stays a week and teaches an entire study. This has
become her new passion. She says, “the cool thing is that I still have Bobby with me. I can talk
about something, pull up a video and he is there explaining it from the Word and his
experience.

Please pray as ChristSong moves forward, serving the Least of These.

Perry Shaw and Lee Gant have partnered together in ministry for over 25 years. They go into prisons proclaiming Jesus and giving hope with the Gospel Message. Lee sings beautifully and plays guitar and often brings a word of encouragement and hope. Rev. Perry preaches and loves on the men and women they encounter. Dolly, Perry's wife covers them in fervent prayer. We have been serving in many states together and they have recently joined us under the ChristSong banner.
