MORNINGTIME 2028

Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. BUT WE WILL GIVE OURSELVES CONTINUALLY TO PRAYER, AND TO THE MINISTRY OF THE WORD. Acts 6:2-4. The Apostles needed to stay in the Word, full time, and let other, Holy Spirit filled, men take more direct care of the day to day needs of the people. (Just some questions to ponder over). Are today's Preachers, (full time paid by the church), to be continually studying the Word and looking out for men's souls, or, doing ALL the hospital and nursing care visitation, making up lesson plans, and setting schedules? Are they to run the Easter Egg Hunt, or spend time on their face before the Lord PRAYING for your little boy? How much time do you want the Preacher playing WITH your children, and how much time do you want the Preacher praying FOR your children? Do you want him as your friend, or as a Prayer Warrior taking your whole family to the Throne Room of God? Does your family KNOW Christ, or do they just KNOW the Preacher? Yes, there are many different standards for many different Preachers. Some just want to be nice guys and say nice things. Some ARE Prayer Warriors and you already know the difference. It's a wide open "standard" of what a Preacher should be and do. I'm just saying, there are a lot of nice people in this world who can be friendly to you. How many will spend time on their face before Christ, Praying for you? Do we in America have a watered down definition of what a Biblical Preacher REALLY should be? Is Acts 6:2-4 about Preachers? Or is that too high a standard for your Preacher? Ponder on it, pray for your Preacher, and, Be Blessed.
