MORNINGTIME 2034

Abraham saith unto him, THEY HAVE MOSES and the prophets; let them hear them.Luke 16:29. Since we're talking about Moses, let's, talk about Moses. This same thinking applies across the board to ALL Prophets. We have Moses life fully and completely laid out bare before us and for all to see. It was 10 times Moses had trouble obeying the Lord. Let's take just 1 time. Is it possible to read about, and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, look at all aspects of Moses thinking, reasoning, and understanding, and learn EVERYTHING possible so that we don't have to make the same mistakes, and we can actually LEARN from his mistake? Can we Walk in CHRISTLIKENESS in this one aspect and not make the same mistake Moses made? I will have to, By Faith, say the answer is a resounding "YES". And IF this be so, can we apply the same study to the other 9 troubles Moses had with the Lord, AND ALSO WALK TOWARDS CHRISTLIKENESS IN THESE TOO??? And if we can do all this with Moses, can we not also apply this concept to all the other Prophets of the Old Testament? (Personally, I still say Yes). So what kind of Faith would be walking around church these days if we studied Moses and the Prophets seriously? No, this doesn't bring us to a place of perfection, but it would deeply entrench us more solidly in CHRISTLIKENESS. "Do as I say, not as I did", definitely has a place in the Christian thinking. "Brothers, I screwed up greatly in This Thing, and here's why. Don't follow my lead in this error, go the other way, take my word for it, don't come this way". Even our friends, in today's language, warn us of things they did and add, don't do it the way I did, it can kill you. Interesting, our heathen friends tell us to do what the Bible told us to do 2000 years ago, and they're both right. Maybe we should listen to THEM ALL, if we're going to get it right, the First time. How easy is that? Learn all about Moses and the Prophets, AND NEVER LEAVE YOUR EASY CHAIR. Do THAT, and you WILL, Be Blessed.
