MORNINGTIME 2037

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought AS A LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. Isaiah 53:7. This is the Prophet Isaiah talking about Christ dying after great affliction. A note of great importance here is that Christ, as The Sacrificial Lamb, was slaughtered so that His Shed Blood was Payment for our sins. Christ KNEW this was going to happen to Him, AND HE RAN TO OBEDIENTLY FULFILL THIS CALLING. Christian, YOU TOO are called to Obediently be willing to die, even a bloody painful death, if Christ should do ask you to do so. No, your death won't "save" anyone, but Christ could call you to die a Martyrs Death, and expect you, as a Follower of Him Leading the Way, to Willingly offer up "your" life for WHATEVER His Purpose is, WITH NO HESITATION AND NO QUESTIONS ASKED. You, Christian, a  Christ-like one, will Joyfully say "YES" to ANYTHING that Christ will ask of you. Being a Martyr for Christ is ONLY if Christ calls for it. And if He does, ARE YOU READY? Forget about your flesh screaming, "No Lord, anything, but that", this isn't about your flesh. This is about you having put your flesh under Submission to your Spirit to such a Degree that flesh never even gets a CHANCE to cry out against you and your Willing, Joyful, Obedience to ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING Christ asks of you. I'm not trying to "push" the act of Martyrdom as something to strive for, as this is the best way you can die for Christ. That THINKING is exactly what the Muslims want to die (uselessly) for. Christ is asking you for your Total Obedience, no matter Where or How He Leads. You may die of old age in your sleep, or He may ask otherwise. If you hesitate, even for a moment, run to Christ and ask Him to teach you how to "Give All" to Someone Who  "Gave All", that YOU could be taken out of SURE DEATH, and be given NEW LIFE. It actually is HIS LIFE in you Believer, so Live for Christ, and, Be Blessed.
