He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God. He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, AND WE WILL BELIEVE HIM. Matthew 27:42&43. And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him , saying, He saved others; let him save himself, IF HE BE CHRIST, THE CHOSEN OF GOD. Luke 23:35. The Priests are dripping with sarcasm and hatred towards Christ, the biggest boaster and trouble causer of the day. They had Him on the Cross and soon all their troubles would be over. Christ died, end of the story. Or so they thought. He has risen from the dead, AND THERE IS NO DENYING THAT CHRIST IS ALIVE AND WELL, walking around for a full 40 days. Seen by everyone, even 500 people at one time. The Priests can no longer deny that Christ is Who He says He is. All their Pride and Arrogance has melted away. Christ is back with more Love and Compassion than ever before. And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; AND A GREAT COMPANY OF THE PRIESTS WERE OBEDIENT TO THE FAITH. Acts 6:7. These Priests saw, and Believed. (Not all, but many, Believed). Then saith (Christ) to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, BUT BELIEVING. And Thomas answered and said unto him, MY LORD AND MY GOD. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: BLESSED ARE THEY THAT HAVE NOT SEEN, AND YET HAVE BELIEVED. John 20:27-29. Today, we have many preachers, teachers, and Joe Sheepers in church who still don't believe that there even is a Christ. They've been spoon fed straight from Hell itself that there is no Christ, no evidence, no proof, no signs and wonders, AND EVEN NO HELL TO WORRY ABOUT. The Greatest Story ever told, and The Greatest Story ever lied about. The one you believe, will you, Be Blessed?
