MORNINGTIME 2111

Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. THEY THAT WERE FOOLISH TOOK THEIR LAMPS, AND TOOK NO OIL WITH THEM: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. Matthew 25:1-4. Here's the setup. This is in church, 4 walls and grassy front yard, and EVERYONE has heard the story that the bridegroom, Christ, is coming back for His Bride. They all believe it and are looking for His Coming. Here's the difference. The 5 wise virgins have done the research and understand that Christ can come at any moment, or He may tarry a bit. So they do everything they can to prepare for any situation that could show up. In this case, unknown time means have extra lamp oil with them, it could be a long night. The 5 foolish virgins, also known as the Lord Lord people, are just along for the ride figuring they'll get what they need as the need arrives. No planning ahead, just "go with the flow". They don't need to exert extra energy because Christians share everything. Just hang out with the Christians, they know what's going on and they'll surely help with whatever's needed.  The Christians work together as a well-oiled machine and are ready for whatever comes up. The foolish don't, and are caught off-guard when the unexpected happens. The Bridegroom came at an unexpected time and the foolish were looking the other way. And to make matters worse, THE CHRISTIANS DIDN’T SHARE.  They've never done that before. "Well phooey with you, we'll just go get our own oil". The Bridegroom came, the Wise entered in, and the door was shut. Everyone who was ready went with the Bridegroom. So close, yet so far away. The Lord and His People will be on time. The Lord Lord people, and the goats, have no idea of the Life of Christ or the Life in Christ, so they are foolish. Follow Christ, Be Ready, and Be Blessed.
