MORNINGTIME 2124

But the Comforter, which is THE HOLY GHOST, WHOM THE FATHER WILL SEND in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26. The Preacher's been preaching, the Holy Spirit had been convicting, (convicting, not condemning), you answer the call to come follow Christ, and you get saved. This now opens up a whole new walk for you in the spiritual arena you know nothing about. Do you need a guide? Wonderful, the Holy Spirit steps up and declares, "I will teach you ALL Things". It doesn't get any better than that. You're hungry and ready to go. Well, except for one thing. Your church doesn't really believe in the Holy Spirit, (ya, He does some pretty wild stuff), so the pastor gives lip service about the Holy Spirit on the light and simple things He does, but never gets down into the "meat" of the subject where all the  good teaching is. It's like, "I'll tell you a few nice things about my Dad, but I don't really want you to meet him and I especially don't want you to really get to KNOW him. He's a nice guy, let's just leave it at that". That's how MOST preachers handle the Holy Spirit, IF they even acknowledge that there is one. The Holy Spirit has a tool belt with 9 tools on it for us to learn to use and when to use them. He has 9 Fruits we can watch grow in each one of us as we grow towards CHRISTLIKENESS. The Holy Spirit IS the Power of God unto Salvation, AND WE TRY TO SWEEP HIM UNDER THE CARPET HOPING HE WON'T EMBARRASS US WHEN WE DO LET HIM OUT. WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE? Do you call yourself a "christian", and deny the Power thereof?  "Having a form of godliness, but denying the POWER thereof: FROM SUCH TURN AWAY". 2 Timothy 3:5. Can you repeat after me, "Holy Spirit, You have 9 Fruits and 9 Gifts for me, teach me how to use, and grow, in all that you have for me. Help me to Obey Your Still Small Voice, in Jesus Holy Name, amen. (If not, why not)? Can you pray this, and, Be Blessed?
