MORNINGTIME 2131

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come , except there come A FALLING AWAY FIRST, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2 Thessalonians 2:3. So how does a church fall into apostasy? Is it a spiritual attack no one saw coming? Is it a case of not wanting to hear? Maybe Laziness? YES, YES, AND YES. On Judgment Day, no one, no church, and no pastor will have ANY excuse for PURPOSEFULLY DENYING THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. This covers the congregation, the pastor, and the church corporately. Since the pastor is the head of your church, we'll call this "the Pastor", as he is the shepherd and nowhere in the Bible are the sheep given permission to tell the shepherd what to do. Who is allowed to warn of approaching Apostasy? The Bible, the Word of God, the Holy Spirit, the Watchman on the wall, the pastor, and any concerned sheep sharing their concerns. For "the pastor" to avoid hearing from any of these sources is walking on thin ice. Actually, "the pastor" will have to willingly and desirously NOT want to hear the warnings and turn a deaf ear to their cries. (Remember, "the pastor" covers the preacher, deacons, and the congregation). These warnings about apostasy can't be taken lightly, like a bunch of sheep complaining, again, and the Pastor is tired of hearing from them. Not this time, this is THE LORD trying to get through to "the pastor" any way He can, and if they still continue not to listen, IT WILL NOT GO WELL FOR THEM. The Lord will discipline those who Love Him. But He WILL walk away from those who continually disobey with no Repentance in their heart. But back on track, when the Lord continuously warns "the pastor" they're drifting away, AND THEY WON'T LISTEN, think about it, that's God Himself they're snubbing their noses at. People, pastor, church, ARE YOU DRIFTING AWAY FROM THE LORD??? Examine yourself, quickly, be sure, check it out, don't miss Christ because of.... ANYTHING. Seek His Face, and Be Blessed.
