MORNINGTIME 2139

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Hebrews 1:1-2. For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Revelation 22:18-19. I guess if it were easy, everyone could do it. Do what? Trust the Lord. It's so easy a child can do it! I guess it really may be that easy, to just trust the Lord and let Him work out ALL the details. And that's the problem, it is TOO simple to faithfully trust the Lord. Man had decided there has to be more to it, it has to be harder than they say. So we come up with our own rules to give people "peace of mind", and they don't work. Getting Right with God has to have a catch.  So man is off and running trying to quiet the guilty conscience, making rules the Bible never heard of, saying things the Bible never said. We want the "bible" to conform to our standards so we will have "the word of god" showing approval of our sin riddled lifestyle. Change, add, subtract, whatever it takes to corrupt the Bible TO MAKE IT OUR WORD, now we have "peace" and can tell everyone in church, "God is with us", ya, a god of our own making is with us!!! It's now OUR words, not the Words of Christ. It's now OUR Bible theology, not Biblical Theology from Christ. I'M SORRY, WE ARE PROS AT ADDING AND SUBTRACTING FROM THE BIBLE IN CHURCHS TODAY. OF COURSE WE'RE BLESSED, WE MADE UP THE RULES TO BLESS OURSELVES. OUR made up god is with us, we know because we get the warm fuzzies and call it the Holy Spirit. By this, we will, be blessed???
