MORNINGTIME 2147

BLESSED IS THE MAN THAT ENDURETH TEMPTATION: (and comes through Victorious), for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: BUT EVERY MAN IS TEMPTED, WHEN HE IS DRAWN AWAY OF HIS OWN LUST, AND ENTICED. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. James 1:12-15. Here's how temptation can work. Let's say you have a secrete sin of pornography. That is your own lust.  Satan knows that and will be sure you have an adequate supply of lustful thoughts, pictures, and sounds. A picture could be as simple as a questionable tease picture on You-Tube, and that's all, UNTIL you click on it and out comes the whole porno video. As you watch it for a few minutes, it's trying to dig its way into your memory banks where it will try to hang on for as long as possible. First is temptation, where Satan tries to put thoughts in your mind. When those thoughts line up with the porno attraction in your mind, AND YOU START TO ENTERTAIN AND DWELL ON THOSE THOUGHTS, that's where you're being drawn away, and if you keep going, you will be enticed. Only Christ can Free you from sin, any sin, all sin, and every sin. But you must cry out and ask for His help to leave those sins behind. You won't cry out as long as you're enjoying those sins, but when you get sick of them, He's there, if you want Him to be. Some sins are more deep seated than others. (Here's where some will tell you, "The deeper ones are harder to get rid of"). That's a lie, SIN IS SIN AND CHRIST CAN FREE YOU INSTANTLY. Just ask the Gadarene Demoniac. For that matter, was there ever a time Christ had to re-do something a few times to get it right? When sin comes knocking, turn it away. If it's got you, Cry out in Repentance, Be Freed, and Be Blessed.
