MORNINGTIME 2148

WISDOM CRIETH WITHOUT; she uttereth her voice in the streets: SHE CRIETH in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. BUT YE HAVE SET AT NOUGHT ALL MY COUNSEL, AND WOULD NONE OF MY REPROOF: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. THEN SHALL THEY CALL UPON ME, BUT I WILL NOT ANSWER; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. Proverbs 1:20-23, 25-28, 33.  These verses have good news, bad news, then good news, all depending on which side of the fence you're on. Wisdom is crying out to anyone who will listen and learn about Wisdom. But nobody's listening, they all mock and laugh at Him until Wisdom says, "Fine, have it your way, I'm leaving. But when your day of Troubles hit, don't come looking for Me, I'll not be found by you". The last verse is a call to all who will ask for Wisdom. They will be the ones who will live without fear from evil. Wisdom is a very serious attribute of Christ you don't want to mess with. It is a part of CHRISTLIKENESS all believers will ask for. Wisdom is as important to the Christian as air is to a body. Wisdom is not part of some check-off list of maybe I want it, maybe not. Wisdom is a part of Christ and to Grow in Christ will be to Grow in Wisdom. Scoffers don't ask for Wisdom, and scoffers don't go to heaven either. Are you a scoffer, or are you a Believer asking for Wisdom and Growing in Christ, where you will, Be Blessed?
