But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. John 10:26-29. Here's the problem in most churches today. The sheep know they're His sheep and the goats THINK they're sheep BECAUSE NO ONE AT CHURCH EVER DESCRIBES THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SHEEP AND GOATS. We have such a lite, cheap, way of "doing" salvation, everyone and his brother think they're saved because someone told them so. If you are to take away the vocabulary of, "With all eyes closed and no one looking around, yes, I see that hand", most preachers in the American church wouldn't have a clue as to what to say next. And no honest explanation of WHY they do salvation that way. We have such cheap salvation in church these days, anyone can be saved, AND NOT CHANGE A THING ABOUT THEIR LIFESTYLE. And the icing on the cake is after they say "the prayer" the preacher introduces them as our new saved brother so and so. HE HAS NO CLUE IF THEY'RE SAVED OR NOT!!! Salvation is not a 5 minute thing you do and your name's written in the Lambs Book Of Life. IT TAKES A LIFETIME. Yes, the above verses are Life and Truth. But when Satan jumps in and offers a quick, cheap, easy alternative to Real Salvation, most people jump on it, with no discernment of real or false. And if the preacher is saving people the same way he got saved, for some people, NONE OF THEM ARE SAVED BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT BEING SAVED IS. Growing in CHRISTLIKENESS is a BIG hint as to real Salvation. Goats who think they're saved can only parrot what they're told to say from man. Believers LIVE what they've heard from Christ. Man has death, Christ has Life, if you know what to look for you can see the difference, and then, you will, Be Blessed.
