Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. FOR SIN SHALL NOT HAVE DOMINION OVER YOU: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6:12-14. Christ lived a Perfect Life because He was the Son of God and had special abilities here on earth. WRONG!!! Christ lived a Perfect Life because He first Loved His God, second, He loved his fellow man, and third, He knew what the stakes were for the Love and Salvation He would offer to every man, woman, and child to ever walk this earth. He CHOSE to Obey His Father in EVERYTHING. He chose NOT to sin at any and every temptation offered. His Life, Actions, and Deeds show us that living a Perfect Life CAN be done, BECAUSE HE DID IT. HE IS OUR EXAMPLE. And the Holy Spirit will show us the Way, His Way, if we will but choose to obey Him at every Opportunity. Every day is a new choice to sin, or not. It's completely up to us to choose Life, or Death, every day. We DO choose to yield ourselves to the death of sin, or to the life of Righteousness. This is why we are to Love God first, so He can fill us with His Love for Him, and then to Love all people. Perfect Love casts out all fear, Perfect Love brings Perfect Obedience, and Perfect Obedience makes you untouchable by Satan. Only your desire and obedience to lust and sin can give Satan a foothold in your life. Sin breaks Fellowship with God. Obedience brings Holiness, Righteousness, and Purity into your Life and Satan WILL leave. Christ lived a Perfect Life, even with Satan harassing Him at every turn. Therefore, WE HAVE NO EXCUSE TO GIVE IN TO ANY AND ALL SIN, EXCEPT WE CHOOSE TO, AND DESIRE TO, because the sin of the moment is of more interest to us than the God of Eternity. If we can learn from this, we will, Be Blessed.
