MORNINGTIME 2186

Now unto him that is able to KEEP YOU FROM FALLING, AND to present you FAULTLESS before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, Jude 1:24. That's a pretty big claim and it takes a pretty big God to make good on a claim like that. Let's throw out the following man-made excuses, "I'm only human". That's just an excuse from someone who wants to stay in sin. "No one's perfect", WRONG, Christ was and He showed us how it could be done. "I don't believe it", Ok, fine, go on don't believing. That's enough, you get the picture. Notice it doesn't say God will keep you from falling. It says God IS ABLE to keep you from falling. The point here is you don't have to fall if YOU don't want to. If you will follow EXACTLY the real life leading of the Holy Spirit, HE can steer you away from falling for that sin. For example, you're in your car going from point A to point B. There is some road construction going on and the only way for you and your car to stay safe is to drive EXACTLY in the pathway the policeman is directing you to go. If you'll drive where he is showing you to go, all will be well, but if you go your way thinking you know a better way, you'll wreck. The policeman can't MAKE you follow his directions, but for your own good, HE IS DIRECTING YOU TO SAFETY. The Holy Spirit, every day, is pointing us to the "safety" of not sinning, IF WE WILL OBEY HIM. Any excuse to not Follow His Leading, WILL end up in our hurt. "Now unto him, (The Holy Spirit), that is able to KEEP YOU FROM FALLING", if you'll do your part, He'll do His, and you can walk sin free. THIS is how Christ Walked through Life and never sinned. He Followed and Obeyed everything the Holy Spirit told Him to do. So can you. NO EXCUSES, it CAN be done, IF you will do your part. The flesh wants you to continuously disobey the Holy Spirit, AND THIS IS THE DAILY BATTLE OF YOUR FLESH AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT. Just follow Him, and you'll be safe, moment by moment, one day at a time. Choose Christ, and, Be Blessed.
