MORNINGTIME 2194

Now when the HIGH PRIEST AND the CAPTAIN OF THE TEMPLE AND the CHIEF PRIESTS heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow. Then PETER AND THE OTHER APOSTLES answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. THE GOD OF OUR FATHERS RAISED UP JESUS, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Acts 5:24, 29-30. Here's the point, the GOD of our Fathers raised up Christ from the dead. The god of: the high priest, the captain of the temple, and the chief priests, told these men, TO KILL CHRIST. One is The God of the Bible, the other is, a god of their own making. All these men are of a religious background. (Watch for Big "G" and little "g"). God tells His people to do things according to His Word, The Bible. The god of the religious leaders told the religious leaders to do things that were NOT according to the Bible. Here's the question, in your church, probably an average “godly" (or Godly) church in America, WHO IS YOUR GOD? If a Watchman on the wall, or a Prophet, comes to your Pastor and says, "Brother, you're doing this, and this, and this, in your church, and these things aren't Biblical", and your Pastor says, "Wow, I'm sorry, I didn't see that", and he tells his church, "We aren't going to do these things anymore, THEY AREN'T BIBLICAL", is this Pastor following The God of The Bible? Again, same question, and the pastor says, "Thanks, I'll look into this", AND NEVER CHANGES ANYTHING, he doesn't correct or throw out ANY unbiblical "thing", is HE following the God of the Bible, OR A god OF HIS OWN MAKING??? If years go by, (with many warnings, "This isn't right"), and all the unbiblical "things" never change, or even get worse, are you following the God of the Bible, OR A god OF YOUR OWN MAKING? Will God allow you to worship Him part of the time,  and then step aside while you continually do unbiblical things IN HIS NAME? Will He share you with Himself, AND the god of your own making? If your church purposefully won't change, can you, Be Blessed?
