FOR I AM NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL of Christ: FOR IT IS THE POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16. If most people in church believe themselves to be saved, and the Bible itself declares most people to be unsaved, some people are missing the mark, greatly. So here's the question before us today. What will it take for you to be assured that you truly are saved? This is not a list of items to check off to give you assurance of your salvation. I only raise the question of, "are you sure"? Then you fill in the blanks. What is your Salvation experience? Most people can tell you the date and hour they got right with God. Most people are content to call themselves Christians, because the preacher told them they were. So is your salvation based on man, and what he says, or is it based on God and what He says? ALL of your eternity is based on your answer. Is your answer a guess? A hope? Or is it based on something from the Bible? Let's dig a little deeper here, if you're answer is Bible based, is it just one sentence, or can you find salvation with many scriptures in the old and new Testament to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that your name is written down in the Lambs Book of Life? Was it a one-time event that's good for life, or a long continuous Walk with Christ on a day by day basis? Can you show by (let's say at least 10 scriptures), different places in the scriptures all agreeing that you truly are of a Bible based salvation? This is not to harass you with lots of dumb questions, but to ask, Are You Sure, REALLY Sure? Because your whole eternity rests on your answer. We're talking A Long TIME, with no chance of a "do-over". Can I get you to certify, verify, and PROVE, by the scriptures, THAT YOU TRULY ARE SAVED AND WALKING WITH CHRIST, FOR EVER??? Take a day to research and PROVE that you truly do belong to Christ, that you really ARE one of His Followers, and that you KNOW how to, Be Blessed.
