But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, SEE THAT NONE RENDER EVIL FOR EVIL UNTO ANY MAN; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Abstain from all appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:8-9, 15, 18, 22. So, anybody have any anger issues you're dealing with? Have you ever stopped to ask yourself WHY you get angry? Is it possible the root problem is, something didn't go your way? You expected, required, even demanded certain results, and they didn't happen, your way? Again, your way? One more time, just to be sure, Your Way? This is the big battle between The Lord, and our self, flesh, and the old man nature. It's ok, everyone has to deal with anger about things not going as they "should" go. We know the problem, what's the solution? DON'T GET ANGRY. Ya right!!! Seriously, we are NOT to get angry, and when we do, IT'S THE HOLY SPIRIT SHOWING US ANOTHER BATTLE BETWEEN OUR FLESH, AND HIM! When anger starts to rise up, IMMEDIATELY take it to the Holy Spirit and ask Him to deal with you and your attitude, ask for the Peace that passes understanding, and to understand that maybe the cause of your anger is actually the Lord showing you someone to pray for, (like on the highway), before they kill someone, or themselves, and die in a wreck and end up in Hell. In Christ, take charge over your flesh and anger, and tell it to BE STILL, IN JESUS HOLY NAME. Yes, do this EVERY time you start to get angry, and the anger problems WILL start to diminish in number, and intensity. Only the Holy Spirit can change you and your heart, and it's up to you to ask Him for His Help. He's more than willing to do His part, will you do yours, and, Be Blessed?
