MORNINGTIME 2258

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; But Christ as a son over his own house; WHOSE HOUSE ARE WE, IF WE HOLD FAST the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm UNTO THE END. Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith), To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: Hebrews 3:1, 6-8. THEY WENT OUT FROM US, BUT THEY WERE NOT OF US; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out , that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 1 John 2:19. This is telling us that those who are truly of Christ, WILL stay with Him all the way to, and through, the end. Only Christ knows who the Believers are, we don't. We may see people who sit next to us in church and have "made a  profession of faith", but later on down the road something happens and they reject Christ, THEY NEVER WERE OF CHRIST. That's why we don't know who is and who isn't of Christ. If YOU belong to Christ, He will never let you go, and you will never try to leave Him. It's a mutual Love that can't be broken. Christ will NEVER lose one of His. In the meantime, during this Life, we will deal with many who "look" saved. They stand next to you in church, they sing with you and even pray with you, but somewhere, during a time of testing, they will fall away from Christ and we will try to dress it up by saying, "They have become a back slider". They don't understand you don't slide away from Christ to never return to Him. You may go through a hard time for a short time, but not drift away and never come back. Once a sheep, always a sheep, not by force, but by Love. Even in the tough times and  trials, Christ is still and always will be, YOUR NUMBER ONE AND ONLY.  Many will fall away in the end times, because they never were one of His. Love Christ all the time, Be His, and, Be Blessed.
