MORNINGTIME 2263

Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the terrible God, who keepest covenant and mercy, let not all the trouble seem little before thee that hath come upon us, on our kings, on our princes, and on our priests, and on our prophets, and on our fathers, and on all thy people, since the time of the kings of Assyria unto this day. HOWBEIT THOU ART JUST IN ALL THAT IS BROUGHT UPON US; for thou hast done right, but we have done wickedly: Nehemiah 9:32-33. No, this is not a story just for the Believers of Nehemiah's time, but for all of time. Especially for the time of now. We in America are a wicked people and this does not go unnoticed by the Lord. He sees all our wickedness, and He also sees the Faith of the Believers. The Lord is Fair, Just, and Merciful. He knows what it will take to Purify, Cleanse, and make Holy His Bride. Like a Doctor  needing to remove a cancer, the Lord  needs to prepare His Followers as the Bride of Christ. Time is short and His Work is becoming more intense as He finishes the Work He started over 2000 years ago.  The question is, can we, will we, Trust Him that He is Absolutely in control of ALL THINGS that come into our lives every day? Is "HOWBEIT THOU ART JUST IN ALL THAT IS BROUGHT UPON US"; just as real to you as the air you breathe? Is asking the Lord to Purify you, Cleanse you, and bring you into Holiness such a part of your daily prayers that you actually DO Praise Him and Thank Him for ALL the Things that come into your Life each day? I don't mean you say, "Oh boy, thank you Lord, I just broke my leg, let's do the other one", but can you Praise Him in the Midst of whatever is going on in your life at any moment? It may not be fun, easy, or enjoyable, but is He Worthy of all your Praise ALL the day long? (Or only when things  are going well for you)? God is Good ALL the time, even if we are about to die. IT'S NOT ABOUT US, IT'S ALL ABOUT HIM. With our eyes on Him, we have no time for us, and in that, we will, Be Blessed.
