For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, THE PRINCE OF PEACE. Isaiah 9:6. And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. John 19:19. To those of you who don't believe anything about the Bible and put all your efforts into decorating Santa Claws, go for it. To those of you who ONLY go to church on Christmas and Easter with much fanfare, plays, and cantatas celebrating the baby Jesus, and a dead man on a cross, continue on in your idol worship. But to those of you who celebrate the birth, death, burial, and Resurrection of Christ on Christmas, and on Easter, and on EVERY day of the year, AND CONTINUE ON IN YOUR DAILY SEEKING THE FACE OF CHRIST AND ALL HE HAS SAID TO HIS FOLLOWERS ALL YEAR LONG, I say Good for you Brothers and Sisters, keep growing towards Christ and CHRISTLIKENESS as you pursue Holiness, Righteousness, and Purity. OK now, why do I open with such a harsh statement? Because to most people in the (4 walls) church, Christ is nothing more than a baby in His mother's arms, (one major religion was built on this one concept), or a dead man hanging on a cross. In both places Christ is of no threat to man seated on his thrown of self, flesh, and the old man nature. Everyone can come to church on Christmas and Easter with much celebrating, AND NEVER CONTINUE ON TO ASK THE QUESTION, "WHAT DID THIS BABY AND DEAD MAN HAVE TO SAY DURING THE REST OF HIS LIFE HERE ON EARTH, AND IN HEAVEN"??? They will ONLY acknowledge Him as a baby, and a dead man on the cross, and go no further. They will totally and willingly skip all the rest of the Life of Christ with all He said and did as our Example unto us Believers, the Followers of Christ. They will accept the Pageantry of Christ, and walk away from the Purpose of Christ. For that, they will NOT, Be Blessed.
