MORNINGTIME 2294

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing ; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18. To believe the Promises of God can be a very comforting thing to help someone through a hard day. Christians need to hear the Promises of God and to Believe by Faith that they will come to pass. Christians will Believe the Promises word for word and live in them growing towards the expected Biblical result. So let's look at the Promises from the perspective of the Goats in the church. They will find Promises they want to use to build a god of their own making. They will custom tailor specific verses to say exactly what they want to hear, AND GO NO FARTHER INTO THE TRUTH. For example, they will quote, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people". This verse gives them the warm fuzzies and is as far as they want to go. This is enough Truth and they search for no more. Here's what they DON'T want to see, "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing ; and I will receive you". Suddenly there's a catch to the verse they didn't want to see before. "touch the unclean  thing ; and I will NOT receive you". Does anyone ever preach on what the unclean thing is, to know what to stay away from? It's your choice, AND IT IS A CHOICE. Choose Truth, and, Be Blessed.
