MORNINGTIME 2324

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: BUT EVERY MAN IS TEMPTED, WHEN HE IS DRAWN AWAY OF HIS OWN LUST, AND ENTICED. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. James 1:12-15. Judas Iscariot grew up with a love of and for money. It was his source of joy and peace. The more he had, the happier he was. The love of money got ahold of Judas in his younger days, maybe a family business with shady deals, whatever the reason, Judas loved money. Whenever his flesh said, "Let's go get some more money", he responded with, "Good idea, I'll do that".  And that's where the trouble starts. Not when the THOUGHT crosses your mind, but when you start thinking about that thought AND START DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT. A Christian can cast down the thought and command it to go back to Hell where it came from, in Jesus Name. That's taking a "physical" thought and dealing with it BY THE SPIRIT, with the Lord's help. Casting down that first thought is where Victory starts. To just say "NO" in Jesus name every time the thought tries to grab hold of you, is to deprive the thought of "life" and it eventually will die. The trouble starts when you start to think on the thought, and then act on the thought, and possibly die because you never nipped it in the bud. (You stole something and got shot for it). Sin brings death if you play with it long enough. Judas lived WITH Christ, and never asked for Christ's help, he never dealt with the problem, he just played with it, AND IT KILLED HIM. ANY problems you have, take them to Christ, AND OBEY however He directs you to deal with it. You will never beat a spiritual problem with your own physical means. But with Christ, ALL things are possible. Be Blessed.
