MORNINGTIME 2344

By faith Abraham, (and all the other Faith Believers of the Old Testament) when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. FOR HE LOOKED FOR A CITY which hath foundations, WHOSE BUILDER AND MAKER IS GOD. These all died in faith, not having received the promises (of Christ) , but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them , and embraced them , AND CONFESSED THAT THEY WERE STRANGERS AND PILGRIMS ON THE EARTH. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. BUT NOW THEY DESIRE A BETTER COUNTRY, that is, AN HEAVENLY: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. Hebrews 11:8, 10, 13-14, 16. As the say, the best piece of real estate is based on, location, location, location. So the question for the day is, where is your "Home" at? All the People of Faith in the Old Testament KNEW there was something much greater and better "on the other side". They all moved in Obedience to the Lord as they made homes here on this earth, but their eyes were fastened on Someone much Greater than any place or thing they had yet seen. For them, a nice home on this side was nice, but nowhere near and nothing like the One they Knew in their Spirit to be soon coming. They didn't "see" Christ as we "see" Him today, but they Knew He was out there somewhere, and to Follow His Leading to something way better was foremost on their minds. There's a very old saying that says, "Don't drive your tent pegs deep, we're not staying here long", and it's still just as true today. Are you building big on this side and losing focus on The Prize at the end? Or are your "eyes" Perfectly focused on Christ and you're ready to move at a moment’s notice? Don't settle for some cheap trivial as home on this side and miss Christ on the other. Keep your eyes Fully on Christ, and settle for Perfection only. Seek Him and, Be Blessed.
