MORNINGTIME 2349

And (the Lord) delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) THE LORD KNOWETH HOW TO DELIVER THE GODLY OUT OF TEMPTATIONS, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they , selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. 2 Peter 2:7-10. Spiritually speaking, the world today is an exceedingly wicked place and going down fast. The Last Days will be as the days of Noah and worse. Nobody in their right mind wants to die and go to Hell. And that's the problem, unregenerated, worldly minded people ARE NOT in their right minds. A Believer can't talk common sense to an unbeliever. The Christian can speak Gospel, but the unbeliever only hears "religious". The two will never meet, EXCEPT FOR, the Work of the Holy Spirit at work in a sinners heart. Only He can answer the call of a hungry heart towards Christ. ONLY THE GOSPEL IN THE HANDS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN SAVE. Noah preached his heart out, and no one listened. Moses, the same, and only two of millions followed him. Even Lot warned people of coming doom, and no one listened. Today, we can preach to thousands, and very few will listen. The first priority of the Church IS NOT to "get'em saved", as many religions try to do, but first, to Love the Lord, and then your neighbor. To Walk with and in Christ, in full Obedience, is Priority, THEN to Preach the Gospel (as the Holy Spirit directs moment by moment) to sinners, AND LEAVE SALVATION IN THE HANDS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, is the Order of the day. No matter how badly people treat you, live or die, the Lord has you and will call you home in His Time. Be not afraid of them who can kill you, but Fear HIM who can kill AND send you to Hell, and, Be Blessed.
