MORNINGTIME 2368

And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, THERE MET HIM TWO POSSESSED WITH DEVILS, coming out of the tombs, EXCEEDING FIERCE, so that no man might pass by that way. So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine. And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters. And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: AND WHEN THEY SAW HIM, THEY BESOUGHT HIM THAT HE WOULD DEPART OUT OF THEIR Coasts. Matthew 8:28, 31-32, 34. As they say, no good deed ever goes unpunished. Jesus shows up and confronts two demon possessed men who have the whole town so terrorized no one dares travel past the cemetery. Jesus frees the two men of total demon possession and the towns folk hear about it. On one hand, two terrorists have a life changing encounter with the Creator OF EVERYTHING and on the other hand, a herd of unclean animals died in the process causing untold financial loss for many. What's a town to do? THAT'S EASY, THROW CHRIST OUT BEFORE HE CAN CREATE MORE HAVOC.  People, this still happens today, RIGHT IN OUR CHURCHES!!! Someone gets Touched by the Lord, tells people in church, and the church authorities want to bring this "thing" to a screeching halt. IT DOESN'T FIT IN WITH STANDARD CHURCH THEOLOGY. Everything is standardized and is working very nicely as is, leave it alone. Christ comes along, and He ALWAYS upsets the apple cart. (tables and money changers?) It's easier to ignore Christ and run Christ(ian) out of town, or at least out the door. Christ and His Ways don't sit well with the world and the worldly. We're only passing through here folks on our way to the Heavenly's. Don't get upset when the Goats running things want to run you and your Christ out the door. Those days are Fast Approaching. Pray for them all, and, Be Blessed.
