MORNINGTIME 2387

For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD . Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. Acts 17:23. This is one facet of a multifaceted God. Let's have some fun and read carefully. Today, most gods can be found just by looking around and seeing some statutes, lots of religious trinkets and pictures on a special table set off in the corner somewhere, or written down so well in a book you can tell his size, shape, and looks. Some gods are small and minister to only a small group of people. Other gods are very large and minister to vast numbers of people, like the god of entertainment we heavily worship in America. Then there are very religious looking gods, (you've seen the pictures), made up by man with billions of followers with their own "bible" version to justify their made up god. One example is the god of the Muslims or the god of the Catholics. Don't get excited here, all mainstream religions have a god of their own making. For example, one religion has women bishops and priests. Another religion has men preachers married to men preachers. Another mainstream religion in America is so secretive they tell their congregations one truth, and when one attains to a very high level of understanding, they teach a totally different truth. We're in this deep, so let's keep going.   Many of our local churches preach of a god with these (?) attributes, but won't touch those other 3 attributes because those will go against their church doctrine. Have you got the picture? Paul said, "I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD, him declare I unto you". THIS God is still "unknown". He can't be measured, weighed, seen, felt, or even understood by the human mind. You STILL can't see GOD, until He lets you, see you, in all your wretched vileness, filth, and sins against HIM. If you get that far, then, He'll show you His Son. HIM, declare I unto you. See God, and, Be Blessed
