MORNINGTIME 2400

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; HE THAT OVERCOMETH shall not be hurt of the second death. Revelation 2:11. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. THIS IS THE SECOND DEATH. Revelation 20:14. "Overcometh": "to conquer, to carry off the victory, come off victorious. Of Christ, victorious over all His foes, of Christians, that hold fast their faith even unto death against the power of their foes, and temptations and persecutions,  when one is arraigned or goes to law, to win the case, maintain one's cause". Many people, (not all), who go up front, repeat a prayer, sign the card, join the church, and are announced by the preacher to the congregation, "Here is our new Brother in Christ..." have no understanding about what they have just done, and very little actual teaching of what it means to be a Christian. Yes, some do "get saved" this way, but very few. Most will die and go to Hell. This is not about "Sincerity" or how adamant you said "the prayer", it's all about Follow Through. Other than a few do's and don’ts about the "rules" of Christian Life, most churches are ill equipped to explain what and how the word "Overcomer" applies to their day to day life. Unless and until someone understands the whole concept of Overcoming, unless they overcome ALL THE WAY TO THE END, they won't make it out of "Hell-bound" and will die in their sins. Saying "the prayer" is just the first step of a million mile march. Walking out your Salvation IS the million mile march, all the way to and through Victory Through Christ. REAL Salvation is the Journey through this life here on earth Victoriously dealing with all problems and situations allowed by the Lord to come into your life. No, you won't be an Overcomer all the time, but you will grow in it and understand it more and more as you Grow in Christ. To "say the prayer" is a 2 minute call. To be an "Overcomer" is a Lifetime call by which you WILL, Be Blessed.
