MORNINGTIME 2407

And I, (put your name in here), thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; OF WHOM I AM CHIEF. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Timothy 1:12-17. THIS WAS WRITTEN BY THE GREAT APOSTLE, PAUL, WHO WAS CHOSEN BY GOD BEFORE TIME BEGAN TO WRITE MUCH OF THE NEW TESTAMENT. AMEN AND AMEN. (humble applause in the background). No, no, a thousand times no, let this not be so!!! This is where the great problem comes in, of putting people up so high on pedestals that no one can reach them, so we turn and walk away. "What they've done is so great, so high, and so mighty, I can never attain to that". THAT IS A LIE STRAIGHT FROM THE PIT OF HELL. There are no great men of the Bible, just plain ole simple men of everyday stature willing to Believe the Words of The Great And Mighty God, WHO CHOSE TO OBEY THE DIRECTING OF THE LORD. God doesn't pick and choose great people to do great things, He will use anybody who will Hear Him and say, "Use me Lord". Maybe you won't write 10 new books of the Bible, but if you will simply Obey the Lord in what He directs YOU to do, YOU WILL RECEIVE THE SAME REWARD AS PAUL, DANIEL, AND THE REST OF THEM. The Bible is not about "greatness", it IS all about Obedience, just plain Obedience. Will you obey Christ today in what He asks you to do? One step at a time, just like Paul, and, Be Blessed?
