MORNINGTIME 2422

I can do all things THROUGH CHRIST which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13. This short simple little verse is many times so misused and misquoted, the original intent is quickly lost in the foolishness. I'll explain. I work for "X" Electric Company and part of my job description is to troubleshoot electrical problems in people's houses, and fix them. But if I decided to take the company truck and credit card and drive to Disneyland  and take a week's vacation without permission, I would be in big trouble with my Boss, and The Law, when I got back home, and be fired from my job. Under my job description I have certain rights and privileges that I can do for my company, and there are certain benefits I can expect from my company, while I am working under company rules and policy. If I go outside of these "rules" I will be living and moving in error  and will receive the appropriate discipline and/or termination. Those are the rules made up by the Company for me to live by. Every company out there uses some version of these rules EXCEPT for some "christians" and their "walk" with Christ. They treat Christ as if He were their Genie in a bottle with an unlimited checking account.  They say and do things in Christ's Name that Christ  has nothing to do with. People will say and do things that have nothing to do with their "Job Description" as Christians and tell the world, this is all of Christ,  making Christ Himself look very stupid. As Christians, as Believers, we have the ability, right, and authority to ask ourselves AND EACH OTHER, is what we're doing Biblical, is it of Christ, does it even make sense, and then have a real conversation about it without getting all upset and walking off in anger. Christ deserves better than His "sheep" heading for a train wreck. Ask yourself, "Am I willing to be checked by my Brother and have my Walk with Christ examined"?  He's coming back for a Bride WITHOUT spot, blemish, or wrinkle. Will I, AND CHRIST, Be Blessed?
