MORNINGTIME 2455

Thou therefore endure hardness, AS A GOOD SOLDIER of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; THAT HE MAY PLEASE HIM who hath chosen him to be a soldier. 2 Timothy 2:3-4. We've discussed the "rights of a phony soldier", now let's go over the rights and privileges of a real Soldier in Christ's Army. First and foremost, you have the right to Live in Christ and die in battle. Your Life is in His Hands and if your Commander and Chief wants to send you on a suicide mission, that's His Right and your duty. Will you go without looking back to maybe compare to see if it's worth it or not? "And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, AND LOOKING BACK, is fit for the kingdom of God". Luke 9:62. Only you and the Lord know if your "looking back" was an act of ignorance in Growing in the Lord, or a true heart attitude of really questioning and doubting Christ and His Command. Another "Right" that you Joyfully have is the right to follow ALL Orders given to you without question because you already know that every Order given to you is for your Good and Christ's Glory. That means that where you eat, sleep, and live is all in His Hand. To someone outside the Army of Christ, He looks like a mean dictator. But to a Soldier in Christ's Army, His every Order, Command, and Wish, are your Marching Orders to be gladly received and followed to the letter with True Joy in your Heart. IN CHRIST is not a democracy to vote on or set up a committee to decide if it's worth it or not. IT'S CHRIST'S NARROW WAY (to Heaven), or it's your way down the wide road to Hell, death, and destruction. You decide. Those are (some of) the Rules a GOoD Soldier Lives by, THAT CHRIST MAY BE GLORIFIED IN ALL HE SAYS AND DOES. In the heat of Battle, it doesn't matter if you understand or not, if you will learn to live life as Christ directs you to in full Faith and Obedience, you will most definitely, Be Blessed.
