MORNINGTIME 2459

If we believe not, YET HE ABIDETH FAITHFUL: he cannot deny himself. 2 Timothy 2:13. Think of the following as in this illustration, "Even a broken clock is right twice a day". On any given Sunday a church building may be full of people, and that's a good thing. People come from all over, many different situations and circumstances, even many variations of faiths and understandings. Kind of a cross section of America. Some people come to church only on Sunday morning because it looks like the right thing to do. They do this to keep their social standing intact. Others come to hear a good sermon ABOUT the God of the Bible. They'll shout "Amen" at all the right places and tell the preacher he’s doing a great job. The preacher IS doing a good job giving his message that does have the occasional piece of scripture or Bible quote in it. The church is "blessed" and everyone is content to keep moving on as they are. They proudly declare that it is obvious the Lord is with them because you can see all the blessings. AND SUNDAY AFTER SUNDAY THEY CONTINUE ON THE SAME WAY BECAUSE IT KEEPS WORKING AND THEY ARE BLESSED. They will never understand that they are poor and blind and naked, because they are obviously walking in His Blessings. They actually see the few blessings that Christ DOES give them as being full time blessings in a blessed church, not realizing the blessings they do have IS STILL CHRIST HONORING HIS WORD AS IT IS SELDOM PREACHED, The people are settling for a few table scraps from The Word not realizing that there is A BANQUETING HALL FEAST IN CHRIST AVAILABLE FOR THE PARTAKING! They can't see this, AND NO ONE CAN TELL THEM OTHERWISE, because to them, their puny little 3 blessings IS the feast, AND YOU CAN'T TELL THEM OTHERWISE. They continue in their “church sins" all the time believing they are greatly blessed. "Even broken preaching is right once in a while". Until they seek THE GOD OF THE WORD and feast on Him, they won't truly, Be Blessed.
