MORNINGTIME 2472

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, AND HATE THINE ENEMY. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Matthew 5:43-44. The question comes up, is there any place in a Christian's Life, for "hate"? Well, yes AND no. No, there is no room for "hate", hatred, or similar words in a Believers vocabulary TOWARDS PEOPLE. We are to Love everyone, and that is a Love for their eternal soul to find Christ, Repentance, and Salvation. That Love is active, praying for a person to Follow Christ all the way into Eternity in the Heavenly's. That Love IS NOT a docile love of "whatever will be will be" as you quietly watch a man run at you with a big knife to take off your head. (This is not talking about God Authored Martyrdom). A Christian isn't to just stand around waiting for someone to kill him. Some Believers even have Faith to see a coming attack, take Authority against the attack, and end up stopping the enemy's attack. That's Pro-active, not Re-active when you see the next move of the Enemy BEFORE he gets to do something.  Back to the question, is there any place in a Christians Life, for "hate"? Yes there is, but it's not against man. It's against Satan and his evil influences as he's tries to USE man for his evil ways. To Hate Satan, to see his traps he had set out for Believers, AND TO PRAYERFULLY COME AGAINST HIM AND WARN OTHERS OF HIS EVIL DEVICES, is proper and a Biblical response to Satan. Christ showed anger towards the money changers in the Temple, (church), and we can have hatred towards Satan who had INFLUENCED the money changers to GO to the Temple. Love the money changers to Salvation, and Hate the satanic source of money changer thinking. Still, throw the bums out, and pray for them on the street, preach Christ TO them, and maybe even one of than will see his evil ways and Repent. He WILL, Be Blessed.
