(The Lord) Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing YE shall hear, and SHALL NOT UNDERSTAND; and seeing YE SHALL see, and NOT PERCEIVE: For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, AND UNDERSTAND WITH THEIR HEART, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Acts 28:26-27. The people of India, (for example) have a million little gods and are very content to worship and praise their own personal little god in the manor they choose. They aren't offended when someone comes preaching about another little god because, it's just another little god. They don't really expect an answer from their little god, it's just a comfort to have one, or two, or three.... When their little god doesn't answer, it's their fault, they just haven't prayed rightly, done enough, or tried hard enough. It's never the little gods fault. I'm sorry, did I say India? I meant to say America. Everyone in church AND out of church has a theology, a denomination, a pet religion that satisfies some of their needs. They are content to read their "holy" book by their favorite author and follow its rules and requirements, because they are comfortable and can live with those man-made requirements. No, I'm not beating up on the American church again, this is about EVERYONE, Saved and unsaved, being comfy with the rules they choose to follow. Man chooses everything about what man wants to follow. VERY FEW will actually choose to Follow a God, Jesus The Christ, when He claims Ownership of them and everything they have, when He tells them they're going to die in more ways than one, and that they'll die with a smile on their face and Joy in their heart. He'll require absolute Obedience with NO complaining, AND THEY'LL LIKE IT. And He'll give them a Peace and Assurance of their Future so Powerful that even death doesn't scare them. With Him, they'll, Be Blessed.
