MORNINGTIME 2494

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that COMETH TO GOD must believe that HE IS, and that HE IS A REWARDER of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6. There are 3 things going on here that a person must do to get to Heaven. First, you have to believe that there actually is a God Who can do things. Secondly, you must come to God believing that He Is and that He is approachable. Thirdly, you must believe there really is a purpose, a reason to Know God, being, He wants to Bless you and provide you with things. (No prosperity gospel here). If a treasure map has clues to some great treasure, you must first believe it's authentic and worth looking at. That's blind faith. Then you put that faith into action following each step of instruction obediently and in order. You must also believe there really is a treasure at the end of this journey of faith and it's worth the effort. Skip any of these steps and you get no prize. The Treasure Map is the Bible, and Christ is the Reward. Many church going people don't believe the Bible, it's just a good book of stories of old dead guys. Others believe the Bible is a good book and that there really is a Heaven and Hell, and go no further. A few are willing to follow the step by step directions to seek out, find, and get a hold of the Reward, that it's worth all the effort, and never let it go. Here's the GOoD news. God not only wants to be believed in and found, He will do everything He needs to to be sure He's found by anyone truly seeking Him. I can tell you, "Christ IS worth all the effort", but until you seek Him, Find Him, and Follow Him yourself, my words are just words. Only when you Follow Him and Fellowship with Him, one on one will you then KNOW my words of encouragement are small compared to the Greatest Treasure you have  ever found. A Preacher is a road map trying to direct you in the way you should go. You have to "walk it out" and find the Treasure, then you will, Be Blessed.
