The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, AND ALSO A PARTAKER OF THE GLORY THAT SHALL BE REVEALED: FEED THE FLOCK OF GOD which is among you, taking the oversight thereof , not by constraint, but WILLINGLY; not for filthy lucre, but OF A READY MIND; Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but BEING EXAMPLES TO THE FLOCK. 1 Peter 5:1-3. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; FOR THE PERFECTING OF THE SAINTS, FOR THE WORK OF THE MINISTRY, FOR THE EDIFYING OF THE BODY OF CHRIST: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, UNTO the measure of the stature of THE FULNESS OF CHRIST: Ephesians 4:11-13. Let's look at these verses from a very simplistic point of view. This is not to diminish the office of any of these Godly positions, but just a looksee from the sheep's point of view. Every Believer is called to minister Christ to someone. To encourage them, to teach them, or even to be a friend to them. You do not need to be announced as "Pastor so and so", or "Teacher whatever", just be a sheep and at least smile. Share what you do know with others, you do have a Testimony. If you'll be faithful to the few the Lord has given you, we'll, maybe so, maybe not, the Lord will give you a crowd? It really won't matter to Believers, they just want to be Obedient to their daily walk with the Lord. They are not impressed by big names and fancy titles. Believers will gladly lift up Christ, and not man. Believers are the ones who plow the fields and prepare the soil for a move of the Lord. Believers are the behind the scenes people who Preach Christ with their daily lives with no recognition. Believers have no political agenda in the church, just a desire to Bless Christ through His People, just to Bless Christ... Wow, what a way to, Be Blessed!?!?
