MORNINGTIME 2510

O TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. Psalm 34:8. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. Luke 16:24. Re-read Luke 16:24 and try to read it with the passion and heart's cry of this lost sinner. It's the Passion of his cry I want you to see. If you will allow a little "freedom" here, with this Passion in mind, let's read this verse, a little differently. "And (the Believer) cried and said, Father Lord God, have mercy on me, and send (the Holy Spirit), that he may dip the tip of his finger in (the springs of Living) water, and (satisfy my thirst for Christ); for I am tormented in this (worldliness around me)". What would the church life of the Believer be like if all our Heart's Cry was to be filled to overflowing with the desire to Taste of the Lord, for He is Good? Even one" Drop" of God and His Holiness, Righteousness, and Purity in our Walk with the Lord could be more than we could stand. But what a goal to go for, all out, unstoppable, Victorious in Obedience, waiting on the Lord in His Will, His Way, in His Time, as A Perfect Bondservant, Trusting The Master even for our Every Breath, totally dependent on Him for EVERYTHING. All this with the passion of that sinner just wanting one drop of water. Can we equally cry out for one drop of "O TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD:? Would this be asking for too much? I SAY NO, THIS IS JUST GETTING STARTED IN A PASSIONATE HUNGER FOR MORE OF THE LORD. Emotional is," Hooray, my team won the game". PASSION IS, "YOU ARE THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, I PRAISE YOU, HONOUR YOU, AND WORSHIP YOU WITH ALL MY BEING, FOR YOU ARE WORTHY OF ALL PRAISE, HONOR, AND GLORY, all in Jesus Holy Name, Amen and Amen. Can you Taste the Passion, can you Taste the Lord, are you stirring that Holy Fire in your belly? Do so, and, Be Blessed.
