MORNINGTIME 2519

Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, ONCE WAS I STONED (AND LEFT FOR DEAD), thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;  In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. 2 Corinthians 11:23-27. Let's call all this, "The Normal Life of the Everyday Christian". Even being stoned and left for dead is part of this  Everyday Christian Life. There's a lot of pain and suffering going on in this Life of the Believer. So far, there has been nothing done here that would qualify Paul to be "raptured" out of here unless Paul was stoned  and actually stayed dead. And to stay dead is already to be in the full time Presence of the Lord. So far, no "Rapture" here. SO WHAT EXACTLY WILL BE HAPPENING TO CHRISTIANS TODAY THAT WILL BE WORSE THAN WHAT PAUL SUFFERED THROUGH AND QUALIFY THEM TO BE "RAPTURED" OUT OF HERE??? Church people will quickly tell you, "Get ready, the Rapture's coming". But I have yet to find ANYONE who can describe exactly the "terms" that will qualify them to be "raptured" out of here. I'm not making fun of this subject, I really do want to know how much more we will suffer than Paul did for the "Rapture" to take effect. Think about this, unless someone can actually describe what MORE will happen to the Christian today than to Paul in his day, the "Rapture theory" just falls apart. Then you're left with a "raptureist" who is left high and dry AND UNPREPARED FOR THE PAULINE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN. Let's just Get Prepared, and, Be Blessed.
