Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: BECAUSE MANY FALSE PROPHETS ARE GONE OUT INTO THE WORLD. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; AND EVEN NOW ALREADY IS IT IN THE WORLD. 1 John 4:1-3. Yesterday I made this statement and I believe it to be 100% true. "ALL RELIGIONS AND DENOMINATIONS HAVE BEEN STARTED BY FALSE PROPHETS". Religions are easy to agree with, for example, the Muslims say Christ was a good prophet, and that's all. The Jehovah's Witnesses say that Christ was really Michael the angel. The list is long and Christ has little or no value in all of them. Mainstream American denominations are still just as easy to add to this claim. Each one was started by a man, OR WOMAN, and not one of them preach THE FULL GOSPEL. The whole Bible is 100% Truth and to preach only 75% of the Gospel, IT'S ONLY 75% TRUTH. So what's the other 25%? You don't get credit for doing a good job BY MAN'S STANDARDS. If a denomination preached 100% Truth, it wouldn't be a denomination. It would be Christ Alone. The best of intentions when the denomination was started was good, but look at ALL of them now and see how far they have fallen away from Christ. So what's the Answer? CHRIST COMPLETELY AND CHRIST ALONE. People are getting Saved IN SPITE OF the denominational slant. A Christian will study His Word and Believe it ALL, and apply it ALL to their Life, and will submit to Biblical Correction whenever needed, every time the Holy Spirit points something out He wants to work on. Be Salt and Light wherever you are, just keep Christ as your Source for Truth, not the words of any dead (wo)man. I just want to see Christ Lifted Up above EVERYTHING. HE IS THE GOAL AND PRIZE.
