MORNINGTIME 2549

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;  Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 1:2-8. These verses are talking about two different worlds here. The world of the physical, the world that has been conquered by sin, death, and destruction, the world we see on the nightly news shoving in our faces just how bad everything is out there and that there is no hope. In this world, the ruler, Satan, does all he can to fill people with gloom and doom, death and destruction, and lots of dying. His mantra is, it's useless, give up, just die and let the chips fall where they may, knowing full well that Hell is waiting at the end of the road. The other world is of God, the Spirit of God and His Son, Jesus, the Christ. The only safety this world has to offer is Totally, Completely, and Fully in and through Salvation through Christ. It's a Safety that man has no idea of. Only through Faith in Jesus Christ and His Work of Salvation can one step through the door from death, into Life, and Life Everlasting. Will this new Life save us from the death and destruction of  hurricanes and tornados? That's the wrong question. The real question is, are you willing to have the Living Christ work through you in the world of death and destruction to such a degree that Christ receives ALL the glory for ALL things, even if it costs you your life? Are you willing to die that others may Live? If Christ is your Everything, your answer is "Yes". If  "Yes", than you will, Be Blessed.
