He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy OUT OF THE DUNGHILL; Psalm 113:7. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have Life, AND that they might HAVE IT MORE ABUNDANTLY. John 10:10. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, AND OPEN THE DOOR, I will come in to him, AND will SUP (intimate fellowship) WITH HIM, AND HE WITH ME. Revelation 3:20. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, AND THE LIFE: no man cometh unto the Father, BUT BY ME. John 14:6. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for WITHOUT ME YE CAN DO NOTHING. John 15:5. Every Believer starts off as the sludge at the bottom of the septic tank. Christ, the Giver of Life comes calling and we say yes. We die in Christ, are raised in newness of Life, and can now have fellowship with Christ. That's the first half of the story, and here's the other half. We have died in Christ, died to self, and died to the lusts and desires of this world, WE ARE NOW SPIRITUALLY DEAD. Christ coming to Live in us takes us from dead, to Alive In Him. It's now His Life in us. (Now let's elaborate with a narrow illustration). CHRISTIANS ARE NOW ON LIFE SUPPORT, and only Christ can keep us alive, AND only Christ can pull the plug. Think about it, EVERY breath we take is authored and allowed by Him. Our physical body lives with each breath He gives. The moment He says, "This will be your last breath, you're coming Home", the body dies and we go home. We say Christ is our Everything, and He Is, we have EVERYTHING through Him. So whatever "thing" He chooses to stop giving, WILL have an effect on us. I'm using breath in this illustration, your "thing withheld" may be your hearing, your memory, or your money. It's ALL from Him anyway, so how can we get upset if He withholds something? IT'S ALL HIS ANYWAY!!! Enjoy His Stuff, and, Be Blessed.
