Brethren, I COUNT NOT myself TO HAVE APPREHENDED: BUT this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and REACHING FORTH unto those things which are before, I PRESS TOWARD THE MARK for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14. This is the Apostle Paul's description of his Walk for, to, and with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus, the Christ. Salvation has been described as A Walk, A Battle, and A Race. Each description is its own illustration. If you're Saved and Walking with Christ, you must continue that Walk WITH Christ until you breathe your last. You must Finish your Walk WITH Him in Obedience TO Him. As a Battle, you must Fight the Good Fight all the way through to Victory. Many times the Battle is hard and unrelenting, but it is Winnable, all the Way to and through Victory. As A Race with Christ as the Prize, it's not that you're racing against other Believers and only one wins in the end, it is that all you need to do is FINISH the Race Christ has set before you. It's like He designs His Own Personal Obstacle Course for you to go through. Not to make it hard for the purpose of making it hard, but that when you do Finish, you will be Like Him, made in His Image and Pleasing to the Father, looking Like the Son. All 3 of these ways are doable, winnable, to be Victorious, to come through in flying colors. The only down side is the NOBODY who quits, stops, or walks away will receive The Prize. Christ is on your side rooting all the way for you. He even sent the Holy Spirit to Guide you every step of the way so that there is NO reason for you to fail EXCEPT you decide to. With His Help, it will be easier to Finish Victoriously, than to fight Him and quit. He will NEVER give up on you. So don't you give up on Him. Walk with Him, Run the Good Race, Fight the Good Fight, all the Way into Eternity with Christ, where you will TRULY, Be Blessed.
