MORNINGTIME 2577

Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus (perfect) minded: and if in ANY THING ye be OTHERWISE minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Philippians 3:15. For those who stand before the Lord as Perfect, it has surely been a long hard road to travel. The kind of travel full of all kinds of things to deal with. King David had A Perfect Heart before the Lord. Whatever that definition is that the Lord applies to "Perfect", we'll leave that in His Hands and move on. In the second half of these verses, "Otherwise minded" is talking about things not perfect in a person's life. For example, you have anger issues, it's easy to get you angry, you have a short fuse, so the Lord will ALLOW something to come into your life for you to get angry about SO THAT YOU MAY RECOGNIZE YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ANGER AND CALL OUT TO GOD FOR HELP. The Lord doesn't tempt anyone, but he does use our everyday things to show us our heart attitudes, both good AND bad, so that we can take both to Him that He will work us towards the Perfection He wants us to have. He knows how to "push our buttons" in the Hopes we will call out to Him to Cleanse and Purify us all the way to "Perfection", as He defines it. The Lord God has custom tailored A Perfect Life in Christ for each and every man, woman, and child ever alive. But it's up to the individual to call out to God for that "perfecting of the Saints", and to the degree you are willing to commit towards the Lord in your Walk towards Christ and CHRISTLIKENESS. The Lord already knows how Close we'll choose to come to Him, but He offers us "Perfection" anyway. If we'll listen, He'll show us EVERY heart attitude He likes, AND doesn't like. The degree of Christ in us is still up to us, as Christ set the example of 100%, what % do you want? Don't try to skate by on the "minimum" %, it won't be enough. You CAN have all you want, so put your Prayers and Obedience where your mouth is, and, Be Blessed.
