MORNINGTIME 2601

STUDY to shew thyself APPROVED unto God, a workman that needeth NOT to be ASHAMED, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15. That WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM (Christ) SHOULD not perish, but HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:15-16. Jesus saith unto him, I AM the way, the truth, and THE LIFE: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6. There never was, isn't now, nor ever will be, any kind of  book that can bring Life like the Bible can. More specifically, only the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Word, can bring Life. These days, there are many "new and improved" versions of the Bible that get so watered down, they are no Gospel. Many "churches" have written their own bible specifically tailored to their beliefs so they can show you "from the bible" how they justify their dead theology. So, why is it important to Study THE BIBLE? (As a side note, the King James Bible has a well proven track record for over 400 years, just saying). Think of the Bible as a breath of Fresh Air from the Holy Spirit, FROM A SCUBA DIVERS PERSPECTIVE. The diver wears a special "Suit of Armour" to protect from the ravages of cold water. He is in an environment that will quickly kill him if he loses his "Protection". He also has a supply of oxygen with special equipment to make it useable to him. If any of his equipment starts to fail, or he uses it improperly, it can seriously hurt him, or even kill him. If his air tank goes empty, or he gets a hole in his air hose, or just not paying attention to his need for CONTINUOUS Fresh Air, he  can die. Here's my point. A "believer" not paying attention to his continuous need TO READ AND STUDY THE BIBLE, like the scuba driver and his need for air, HE CAN DIE SPIRITUALLY, and never see it coming. Just thinking, "It's not that important, I'll be OK", can bring death. So READ, STUDY, and Be Blessed.
