For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Revelation 22:18-19. Keep in mind that we are all learning from The Word, and to get a new understanding of something is all part of the deal. But that new understanding comes FROM the scriptures, all in proper context, and backed up BY the scriptures elsewhere in the Bible. The troubles spoken of in these verses, Revelation 22:18-19, kick in when something is taught that can't be properly backed up BY the scriptures. A man says, "I've been chosen by God to help Christ finish the work he started on the cross, I am the second coming of Christ", you KNOW this guy's a cheat and a liar, and no liar will get into Heaven. Charles Manson was one such person. Some of these people are REALLY obvious in their deception. But some are very subtle and sneaky. Ask the Holy Spirit to build up your Discernment of sin and error and you'll never fall for these guys again. But also, look at your list of people, both guys and girls, that you like to watch and listen to as you learn of the Lord. One by one, ask yourself, do they Preach and Teach the Gospel, from the Gospel, by the Gospel, and with the Gospel? You may find that of your radio, TV, and internet sources go, you just might be able to count the "good guys" on one hand, maybe two. With Eternity in the balance, you with the Lord God Almighty, Jesus, the Christ, and the Holy Spirit, makes a pretty good team to teach you "all things" from the Gospel. Just be very careful who you add to this list. Satan himself can look like an angel of light. His deceived followers think they are too. Study the Word carefully, and, Be Blessed.
